I am pleased to share my endorsement of Alexandra Bonham for Ward 3 Councillor in the Town of Aurora.

Alexandra has called Aurora home for the past 35 years, raising her family here and building strong connections within our community. She is someone who genuinely cares about the town and the people who make it such a wonderful place to live.

Alexandra is passionate about politics and takes the time to carefully consider every issue and scenario. She approaches matters seriously, listens to different perspectives, and understands the importance of respectful discussion when making decisions that affect our community.

Her commitment to Aurora goes well beyond politics. Alexandra stays actively involved in local sports, participates in a community band, and generously volunteers her time wherever help is needed or requested. Her willingness to give back reflects her dedication to the community she has been part of for more than three decades.

One of Alexandra's greatest qualities is how approachable she is. She is easy to talk to, open to hearing different opinions, and always willing to have a respectful conversation. These are important qualities for someone serving on our Town Council.

Alexandra Bonham brings a genuine connection to Aurora, a passion for community involvement, and a thoughtful approach to the issues that matter to residents. I appreciate her commitment to our town and her willingness to step forward and serve the community.

I encourage Ward 3 residents to take the time to learn more about Alexandra Bonham, her priorities, and her vision for Aurora's future. Vote Bonham!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Alexandra for the past 5 years. I have known her to be incredibly organized and passionate about many causes. Politics and caring about her community are at the top of her list. She has either attended or watched every single council session since I’ve known her. She is up to date on almost every important issue that faces our town and will aways have a point of view on them. Alexandra is always looking at things from both angles to make an informed decision. I believe that Alexandra is the type of person we need on council. While not in my ward, I would not hesitate to encourage people to vote for her.

I taught Alexandra at Devins Drive Public School in 2003-2004. I also taught her brother a few years later, and stayed in touch with the family as a result. During those early years, I could tell Alexandra was mature beyond her years, while maintaining her lighthearted sense of humour, her passion for music and baking, and her fierce protection of her values and character.

As an adult, Alexandra continued to pursue her interests and reinvented herself many times over as she sought out new challenges and endeavours. She developed innovative entrepreneurial ventures and built a network within the local community where she is recognized and valued as a contributing member.

She is part of the Aurora Community Band and is a proud pet owner and new mother, so she has the pulse on a broad spectrum of lived experience representative of the Town of Aurora.

I’ve known Alexandra Bonham for well over a decade. What began through teaching her music has grown into a wonderful friendship built on our shared love of music, community, good food, and great conversation, and now, through conversations often centered on community and politics.

Knowing someone for this long means you see them through successes, challenges, and everything in between. That’s when you really get to know someone’s character.

Alexandra is truly one of a kind. She is the friend who shows up at the drop of a hat, makes time for people, and genuinely cares. She understands the importance of listening, the complexities of relationships, and the value of bringing people together, even when they disagree.

I’ve watched her grow as an entrepreneur and community leader, speak up for what she believes in, and stand by her convictions, even when it isn’t easy.

What I value most about Alexandra is that she leads with compassion, isn’t afraid of difficult conversations, and never loses sight of the people behind them.

I’m grateful to know her, both as a former student and as a dear friend. I encourage anyone in her ward to vote for her and choose leadership that listens.

I’m happy to endorse Alexandra Bonham for Ward 3 Councillor. Alexandra brings a level of thoughtfulness and independence that I think would be a real asset at Council. She doesn’t just follow the crowd or rely on talking points. She asks questions, digs into the issues and isn’t afraid to speak her mind.

I think Ward 3 would be getting a strong, genuine voice with Alexandra at the table.
